In this immersive course, massage therapists will explore an integrative approach to iliopsoas assessment and treatment, combining trauma-informed abdominal work, strategic use of props for client comfort and support, neuromuscular techniques including muscle energy methods, and Thai massage stretches designed to address the hip flexors and surrounding lower-body structures. Through evidence-informed concepts and hands-on instruction, participants will build confidence working with the iliopsoas in clients experiencing hip restriction, chronic low back discomfort, and related movement dysfunction. This course emphasizes adaptable techniques, client-centered care, and practical applications that therapists can incorporate into their clinical practice.
